Account-Level Suspension on Google Ads
Last Updated on: October 16, 2025
An account-level suspension is the most severe enforcement action where Google completely disables an advertiser’s ability to create or run ads across their entire account. Unlike ad-level disapprovals, this affects all campaigns and prevents access to most account functions. Account-level suspensions are typically triggered by serious policy violations, repeated offenses, or attempts to circumvent Google’s systems.
Example: An advertiser repeatedly violates Google’s policies despite warnings, resulting in an account-level suspension that blocks all advertising activity.
