Multiple Accounts Policy
Last Updated on: February 18, 2026
The multiple accounts policy defines when and how advertisers can operate more than one Google Ads account. Google generally prohibits creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or policy enforcement, but allows legitimate business reasons like separate brands or geographic markets for example. Violations can result in all associated accounts being suspended simultaneously.
Example: An advertiser creates a second account after their first is suspended for policy violations, triggering a multiple accounts policy violation and suspension of both accounts.
