Request Review Button (Google Merchant Center)

The request review button in Google Merchant Center is the mechanism you use to ask Google to re-evaluate product disapprovals after you’ve fixed the issues. You’ll find it under Products in the Needs Attention tab. You have two options when requesting review: ‘I fixed the issue’ (if you corrected the problem) or ‘I disagree with the issue’ (if you’re disputing the violation).

Account reviews typically take 7 business days. Here’s the catch: for many issues, you only get one chance to disagree with the decision. If your second review attempt fails, a one-week cooldown period may kick in where the review button is disabled. Google added bulk request review functionality in 2025, letting you appeal multiple products at once for the same issue.

Example: An e-commerce store fixes price mismatches across 50 products in their feed, then uses the bulk request review button to submit all 50 products for re-evaluation at once, receiving approval within 5 business days.
