Enabling Dishonest Behavior Policy

The enabling dishonest behavior policy prohibits promoting products or services designed to facilitate deception, fraud, or unethical practices on Google Ads. This includes selling fake documents (like fake IDs or diplomas), hacking services, spyware, academic cheating tools, services that manipulate reviews or social media engagement, and products that help people deceive financial institutions.

Unlike egregious violations, this policy gives you at least 7 days warning before account suspension. Google updated the policy documentation in August 2025 for clarity, and this policy is now part of their three-strikes system for repeat violations.

Example: A service advertising ‘essay writing’ that’s actually offering to complete academic assignments for students gets flagged for enabling dishonest behavior and receives a 7-day warning to remove the violating ads.
